Joseph Douillette, Principal

Joseph Douillette is a video artist and educator who lives in Boston, Massachusetts. He is the coordinator of the Fast Forward Teen Video Program at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art. He grew up in Nahant, Massachusetts, where Egg Rock is located. After graduating from Swampscott High School, he attended Boston University's College of Communication.

As an adjunct faculty member at the Boston Arts Academy, he has worked with the dance department to produce several multimedia performance pieces. He is a current Digital Fellow at the Dance Theater Workshop in New York where he is working with choreographer Marlies Yearby to develop a multimedia piece called The Beautiful. His work has been shown at the New England Video and Film Festival and on Move the Frame, a video-dance series on BCAT/Brooklyn Cable Access Television.

Outside of his video artwork and his teaching, Joe is an advisor to the Do It Your Damn Self!! National Youth Video Festival in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a president of the board of directors at Cambridge Community Television.
